Rivo' to Rotto' swim:
Support our hero, Jaydan Neal
With his fighting spirit, a contagious smile and a positive attitude, Jaydan Neal really is a little Aussie battler. The three-year-old has spent most of his young life fighting the rare genetic disorder DiGeorge syndrome. DiGeorge syndrome is a congenital disease caused by a deletion from the 22nd chromosome. It commonly causes heart defect and an inability to fight infections. His parents, Jemma and Luke who runs a Specsavers franchise in Riverton, have become a few months ago the first sponsor of the Riverton Aquanauts.
The Aquanauts are now asking for your generosity. Please support our Telethon Event by purchasing as many kilometers our swimmers are committed to swim in one week of training. Your kind donation will help families and children in Western Australia.
In the 10 to 15th October week, the Riverton Aquanauts swimmers will train with in mind the goal of supporting Jayden Neal and Telethon.
Every squad swimmer taking part to our fundraising event will try to add as many kilometers as possible swimming on a "virtual waterway" from Riverton to Rottness Island.
Prior to the week, our swimmers will ask you to support their effort by pledging a donation of a minimum of $1 per kilometer for as many kilometers as you wish.
Please welcome their initiative by registering your support with your name, email, phone, the distance you wish to sponsor and your donation per kilometer on the form presented to you.
Each swimmer will try to swim the distance from Riverton to their chosen location on the map below. Once the swim has been completed, you will be informed of the swimmer's achievement and be asked to finalize your donation.
