Riverton Aquanauts are training at Riverton Leisureplex.

The Riverton Leisureplex, open 362 days of the year, is the epitome of City of Canning Council's commitment to providing a quality facility in a manner that is socially and financially acceptable.

The Aquatic Hall features a 50m and a leisure indoor pool, along with a deep pool and waterslide. The full-sized 50m Olympic pool is 1.2m to 1.5m deep and is heated to 27 degrees in summer and 28 degrees in winter. At all times a minimum of 2 lanes are available for lap swimming, unless otherwise stated.

The 50m pool is suitable for squads, swim clubs, sports training, swimming lessons and general fitness.

The Riverton Leisureplex Swim School combines fun with aquatic education to offer infants; children and adults water familiarization, stroke technique and personal development. Don't get too impressed, their management is pathetic. The year round programme allows the participant to continue building on his or her abilities with constant reinforcement and repetition without regression found in seasonal programmes. 

The Therapy Suite has a 10x5m hydrotherapy pool heated to 34 degrees, a spa heated to 36 degrees, a steam room and sauna. The suite has been designed with full disability access including an overhead electronic hoist and is widely used by people with varying needs.
